MINISTRIES
Ushers Ministry
Welcome to Bitterroot Valley Calvary Chapel Ushers’
Ministry! Ushers’ Ministry is one of hospitality, with a
variety of functions including greeting, ushering, and
security. It plays a vital role before, during, and after
Church Services and special events.
Ushers are called to represent Jesus Christ and to be
an extension of His heart and hands for those in our
congregation and for visitors. We are called to actively
meet people and make them feel welcome and important.
Ushers are called to assist our pastor in
accomplishing his mission of saving the lost, strengthening
the weak, and sending to serve as we worship God in prayer,
giving, song, and the teaching of God’s Word.
Ushers are called to facilitate during our church
services and limit disturbances that can distract people
from God’s Word and the Holy Spirit.
We believe God raises up and prepares people for this
ministry. This ministry is for those who have good people
skills and enjoy helping others. However, don’t be
discouraged because you feel unprepared, inexperienced or
lack ability. He is looking for people with servant’s
hearts. Also, before you enter this ministry, we will
prepare and equip you through an interview and training
process.
